Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how e-Peshi ("we", "us"), available at https://epeshi.com, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website and app. By using e-Peshi you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, district and bar details you provide.
  • Google account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Case and practice data: cases, hearings, proceedings, clients, tasks, drafts, invoices, payments and documents you add.
  • Public court data: case details fetched from publicly available official court portals at your request.
  • Technical data: device type, browser, push-notification tokens and basic usage logs for security and reliability.

2. Google Drive backup

e-Peshi offers an optional feature to back up your own e-Peshi data to your Google Drive. When you connect Google Drive, we request only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.

  • This scope lets e-Peshi access only files and folders that e-Peshi itself creates (a folder named "e-Peshi Backups" and the backup files inside it).
  • We cannot see, read, edit or delete any other files in your Google Drive.
  • We use this access solely to: create the backup folder, upload backup files of your e-Peshi data, list your previous e-Peshi backups, and download a backup when you choose to restore it.
  • Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive; we do not keep copies of the file contents on our servers.
  • We store an encrypted OAuth token on our servers only to perform backups you request or schedule. You can disconnect at any time from Settings in e-Peshi, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

e-Peshi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing backup and sign-in features.
  • We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to third parties, except as needed to provide the feature, comply with law, or as part of a merger with your notice.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or creditworthiness/lending purposes.
  • No human reads Google user data unless you give explicit consent (e.g. for support), it is required for security, or required by law.
  • We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide case tracking, cause lists, hearing alerts, billing and backups.
  • To send notifications you enable (push, email or WhatsApp).
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To process subscription payments.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run e-Peshi (hosting and database, payment processor, WhatsApp/notification providers, AI processing for features you use), with chamber members you invite, or when required by law.

6. Storage and security

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls so each user can only access their own records. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual records anytime, disconnect Google Drive anytime, and request full account deletion by emailing us. We delete account data within 30 days of a verified request. Backup files in your Google Drive remain under your control and can be deleted by you.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent for optional features at any time.

9. Children

e-Peshi is intended for legal professionals and is not directed to children under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified in the app.
